Job description:
The primary purpose of the Research Data Coordinator position is to participate in protocol and data management activities for patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant. Acts as a lead in the development and maintenance of systems for controlling paper flow for protocols and hospital policies. Maintains schedules for the timely submissions of all grant data. Acts as liaison with patients, families, physicians and other personnel. Maintains contact with other institutions, participating in studies and coordinates all data. Coordinates studies sponsored by drug companies and FDA.

Key Functions:
1. Communicate with assigned research nurse and data analyst.
2. Input patient outcome data into departmental data base.
3. Assist in preparation of patient information required for completion of forms and reports.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Job Description-Requirements EDUCATION:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field.

Required: Five years research study experience.
Preferred education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred experience would include a Bachelors in Biology and previous experience as a Research Data Coordinator.
